The Fox Red Labrador employs qualified veterinary review to enhance the accuracy, clarity and safety of health-related content.
A veterinary reviewer ensures that medical information is presented responsibly, based on appropriate evidence, and that it is clear that it has limitations.
All articles reviewed should include a statement identifying the reviewer, his or her credentials, the date of the review and a link to the professional profile of the reviewer.
Meet Dr. Rachel Kennedy
Dr. Rachel Kennedy is a veterinarian and author of educational health and care material for The Fox Red Labrador.
In 2022, she graduated Cum Laude from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests are preventive medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, ultrasonography and ophthalmology.
Dr. Kennedy is a member of:

- Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA)
- Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association
She is also Fear Free Certified and a RECOVER Certified BLS and ALS Rescuer.

Review Date And Updates
The name of the reviewer and date of the review are written on the article. Content may be reviewed again as evidence and/or professional guidance changes.
Limits Of Veterinary Review
The content we have reviewed is for general education. It cannot diagnose an individual Labrador or replace an examination by a veterinarian.
